We are the latest Chess Academy to be set up in Singapore providing enrichment programs for young children to complement their academic pursuit and personal well-being. It is a stone throw away from Marine Parade Town and we hope to be the preferred choice of young children living in the exciting and colourful eastern enclaves of Singapore.

Two Rooks against lone King
Our Thematic Program - aptly coined "Approach to Chess Competitions" is aimed at helping young children better prepare for competitio
Checkmate patterns involving the pawns and Opening Strategy (control of the center of the chessboard, development of pieces and protecting their King), After this course, the trainees will once again be assessed for suitability to progress to the next level.
Rook and King against lone King
Our Learn to Play Chess Program - Beginners Course targets young children who do not have any knowledge of the game. They will start from learning the squares on the chessboard and thereafter they will be introduced to the game, the pieces, the movements, the value of the pieces and simple checkmates. This course is also suitable for children who pick up the game from their parents or friends as although they are able to make simple moves. They are required to learn the basic fundamental aspects of the game on a structured and modular manner. There shall be both theory and practical lessons to enable them to put into practice what they learnt during the course. At the end of the course the students will be assessed to determine their suitability to progress to the next level. We have children starting as young as 5 years of age. At the end of the course the children should be able to play a simple game.
Queen against lone King
The Learn to Play Chess Program - Elementary Course is the second module in our group enrichment program. Trainees should have preferably completed our Beginners Course before progressing to our Elementary level course. Here, the students are once again reminded and refreshed on the importance and benefits of Chess Notations. They will follow up with acquiring some simple checkmate variations. They should know how to develop the game and making good uses of the pieces on the board to achieve checkmate positions. They will learn to checkmate with Queen and Rook against lone King
