About CMOS.
In 1988, CMOS made a J.V. with a Singapore Company named Airtrust and purchased a Drill Ship and converted it into a floating oilfield warehouse / accommodation barge, which is the largest in the world of this type at that time.
In the CMOS organisation, we have always sought to expand our market and improve our capabilities so we can give the best service and quality control to meet the requirements of our clients to the full. With over 40 years experience in the oil industry, CMOS has developed a particular competency and competitive edge with regard to drilling and support to the oil and gas industries in South East Asia. At that time CMOS has in South East Asia three (3) Drilling Rigs and two (2) Workover Rigs. In 1987, CMOS purchased their first land drilling Rig 750 HP and went into the Drilling / Work over business.
Quality Services.
The Managing Director is Kenneth Ray Cooper, a United States Citizen, who has over 50 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. With our personnel training program and many years supporting the oil and gas industries in South East Asia this allows us to optimise through our value chain to represent real benefits to our clients in the form of flexibility and operational efficiency. In Feb 2009 CMOS sold out the Drilling Business side to concentrate 100% on offshore services.

Cooper’s Mechanical Oilfield Services Pte Ltd (CMOS) is an established Singapore registered company. During this period he has worked in the USA, Libya, Venezuela and South East Asia. With our main office in Singapore, we can further improve our quality of services in South East Asia.
In May 1999 CMOS established an Indonesian P.T. Company (P.T. Cooper’s Mechanical Oilfield Services Batam). At the time the company was set up to do steel fabrication and pressure tanks and oilfield repairs, plus a full range of land and offshore rental equipment.
