In addition to the above-mentioned underwater projects CUT Asia Pacific performed 6 special projects for refineries: the DWCS was utilized above water for the cut of the large targets up to 10 meter in diameter with wall thickness of 35 mm. steel and 150 mm. refractory mesh and accuracy within +/- 3 mm. on a 10 meter diameter.
The range of cutting diameters has been from 6” up to 150” in water depths down to 2,434 meters.
The system is both diver and ROV (Remotely Operated Vehicle) friendly with no limitations for sizes, materials or water depths.
The projects list includes more than 80 platforms removal and more than 250 pipelines removed/repaired.
