We are a clinic that specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of neuromusculoskeletal (nerve, muscle, and skeletal) conditions. For example, if it turns out that you need shoulder surgery because one of your rotator cuff tendons is completely torn, then we can refer you to a shoulder surgeon specialist. If there is a need for medication, we will refer you to the proper specialist, or surgery, specialized laboratory work, but we will still help you manage your case throughout the whole treatment process. We understand this feeling of helplessness, and will work with you to make sure that you are given the correct diagnosis and treatment recommendations.
There are even times when patients are given the wrong diagnosis, and hence the wrong recommendations and treatments. In many instances, results, these cases can be resolved since we are given all of the data, and history of previous treatments. We especially encourage patients to come in that have been to other healthcare providers and would like a second opinion. This includes, cartilage, tendon, ligament, muscle, joint, most conditions that cause bone, but is not limited to, and nerve pain.
We do not use any prescription medication or surgery. They tend to put all of their trust in the doctor - because s/he is the doctor, right? When this happens, many patients feel that there is nothing left that they can do to resolve their condition and they feel that all hope is lost. In general, most patients trust the doctor’s opinions and recommendations, and they tend not to question them. There are many reasons for this. We can then analyze the information and usually give you an alternative solution that was not done before and explain why previous treatments were unsuccessful.
