Philosophy.
I am a professional member of the Singapore Association For Counselling (SAC), Psychotherapy Association Singapore (PAS) and a Certified Solution-Focus Therapist (CSFT) awarded by the Canadian Council of Professional Certification (CCPC).
As a professional therapist, providing a safe and supportive environment for my client is one of my primary goals. Witnessing changes, healing and transformations in my clients is what motivates me to continue doing what I have been doing. I have been employed as a counsellor / social worker for more than 12 years in the demanding position of a Family Therapist and especially Marriage Counselling in Singapore.
Sound knowledge and training are important for a therapist’s professional development. Above all, what inspires me is seeing a person eventually move on in their lives.
My name is Premela Ramachandran. Being a believer that each person is a unique creation, I constantly keep myself in check to guide each of my clients with utmost respect and ultimately place his or her needs first.
I am passionate about what I do as I have seen the positive outcomes in the people I have guided for the last 12 years as a psychotherapist. I am a qualified psychotherapist with a B.A. in Psychology, Masters in Counselling and specialize in Solution Focused Brief Therapy. Alternatively, you could address me as Ms Pram. As such, I am committed to my own personal and ongoing professional training, which I take very seriously.
