What you should know about Keppel Club The
Keppel Club is a golfer’s sanctuary. In the 1830s, the Straits Settlements (Singapore, Malacca and Penang) was a pirates’ haven. Bordered by Singapore’s southern shoreline, the Keppel Club we know today enjoys 44 hectares of lush undulating terrain, but it was not always like this. By 1832, Singapore had become the busy centre of government for the three areas.

The dining outlets in Keppel Club are not only well received by members and their guests, they are also highly patronised by members of the public. Enjoy a delicious variety of food including Japanese cuisine at Kome Japanese Dining, Nonya flavours at PeraMakan, Chinese dishes at Peony Jade Restaurant and Western delights at The Mangrove. Keppel Club is well equipped with a wide range of sports facilities. The Olympic-sized swimming pool, indoor and outdoor tennis courts, eight-lane Bowling Centre and sea-facing gymnasium are all popular with members and guests. Courses, events and activities including dance, pilates and yoga classes are frequently organised to further liven up the Club's already-vibrant sports scene.
The social facilities in Keppel Club include a jackpot room with 28 fruit machines, six mahjong rooms and a video arcade that provides fun and entertainment at low cost. Our Keppel Karaoke Theatre has a superb sound system with a nice, cosy environment. Sit back and enjoy listening to the music, or go on stage and belt out your favourite songs.
Golfers will relish the 5,917 metres of our par 72 undulating golf course. Designed by Ronald Fream and modified by Chris Pitman, bunkers have been strategically placed to challenge the novice and seasoned golfers. It was given a facelift in 2004 and in December 2005, our Landscape Master Plan for the golf course won a Bronze Award for Design and Building Projects.
