Just a little something about us. The moderate use of cream in gelato also results in its having less than half the fat content of regular ice cream. Rather than using the commercialised pre-mixes commonly used in many gelaterias, cream, which involve a careful balancing of sugars, we choose to stick with traditional Italian recipes and methods, fresh milk (and sometimes eggs) to achieve that perfect smoothness in texture and exquisitely intense flavour. Each flavour is strictly handcrafted in small quantities to ensure the freshness and quality of our gelato. Similarly, we hope stepping into Latte e Miele will evoke the same feelings of goodness and pleasure as you leave the parched office landscape, dusty roads and chaotic traffic behind to enter an oasis of gelato and other tasty treats.
Latte e Miele, which means “milk and honey” in Italian, was inspired by the biblical paradise “Land of Milk and Honey” where there is abundant sustenance, joy and happiness. You CAN have your gelato and eat it. So, indulge.
