In the 1980s, we were awarded the pilot pre-cast façade project in Serangoon North, and today we are the one of foremost experts in employing pre-cast technology in Singapore.
This project would consist of 2,234 units in 10 apartment buildings, out of which four are 40-storey buildings.
Among the many big projects we won through the years was the HDB's biggest project to date worth S$370 million in 2008.
Not only did we complete Singapore's first 40-storey public residential building located in Queenstown in 2004, Straits Construction has to date built the most number of 40-storey HDB residential buildings in Singapore.
As Straits Construction grew, we began to take on bigger projects.
